What’s Inspected During A Home Inspection
House Detectives, Inc. follows the ASHI Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics for all inspections. The standard home inspection report will cover the condition of the home’s:
heating system- central air conditioning system (temperature permitting)
- interior plumbing and electrical systems
- the roof, attic and visible insulation
- walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors
- the foundation, basement and structural components
Most people do not understand that a home inspection is NOT an all encompassing technical review of a property. Rather, it is a non-destructive, general overview of a property that searches for deficiencies in the systems of the property that may cause safety and/or financial concerns for the occupant.
